Free QR Code Generator - Create QR Codes for URL, Text, Email, Phone & WiFi

A QR code stores a short piece of information that a phone can read with its camera. Choose URL for a web address, Text for a short message, Email or Phone to open the appropriate app, or WiFi to encode network details. The tool creates a PNG at the selected pixel size, ready to place in a document or share digitally.

Before printing: keep a strong contrast between the code and its background. Black on white is the safest choice. Test the final image on more than one phone, at the intended viewing distance, because small, low-contrast, or heavily compressed codes can fail to scan.

Convert any website link into a scannable QR code. Perfect for business websites, landing pages, online stores, and social media profiles.

Text QR Code

Generate a QR code containing plain text. Useful for instructions, notes, messages, and product details.

Email QR Code

Phone QR Code

Generate a QR code that automatically opens the dialer with a phone number ready to call.

WiFi QR Code

Create a QR code that lets users connect to your WiFi network without typing the password.

How to Prepare a QR Code

  2. Enter your information in the input field
  3. (Optional) Select your preferred QR code image size
  4. (Optional) Select QR code and its background color
  5. Click "Generate QR Code"
  6. Download the QR code image
  7. Scan the downloaded image with a phone before publishing or printing it

Good to Know Before You Share a Code

  • These are static codes. The content is fixed when generated; changing it later means creating a new code.
  • Size matters for print. Choose a larger pixel size and test the scan at the real viewing distance before printing.
  • Contrast decides readability. A dark code on a light background scans most reliably; low-contrast colors can fail.
  • A WiFi code exposes the password to anyone who scans it, so place it where sharing the network is acceptable.
  • The image is drawn in your browser and downloaded as a PNG; the content you enter is not sent to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a generated QR code expire?

The code itself is static: it continues to contain the same information. A URL code will only remain useful while its destination URL is available, and a WiFi code depends on the network details remaining unchanged.

What should I check before sharing a WiFi QR code?

Confirm the network name, password, and encryption choice. Anyone who can scan the image may be able to read those details, so avoid placing it where you would not normally share the network password.

Why does a colored QR code sometimes fail to scan?

Camera recognition depends on clear contrast between the dark modules and the background. Similar colors, patterned backgrounds, and a code that is too small reduce that contrast.

Do you store my data?

No. Your data is processed directly in your browser — we do not store or track your QR content.
